What: TryTank Experimental Lab is launching several experiments aimed at helping smaller congregations thrive. These initiatives include "Thriving Cohorts," "Virtual Preaching Monks," and "Zoom Faith Formation" (like Prayer School ).
Why it matters: The Episcopal Church has almost 6,000 congregations. According to the Church Center in New York, 1730 of these congregations have 29 or fewer people on a Sunday. Many don't have clergy every Sunday. We hope that this resource will provide congregations with a deep encounter with the longing for the incarnation that is Christmas.
