What is Truth?

Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the old liturgical year before we head into the new year and Advent, looks towards the end of time and the fulfillment of all things -- the time when Christ will reign. In the Anglican/Episcopal tradition we believe this is both already and not yet happening.

• Have you been deceived by an untruth, one that was based in irrationality and/or fear? 
• Does thinking about truth as “that which calls us into life of transformation, hope, and commitment to a better world” help clarify what is truth or untruth in your daily life? your church life? your community life? 
• As a baptized Christian, what truth(s) will you commit to proclaiming this Advent and Christmas season?
